Erasmus+ funded inbound mobility to the UK — work placements, English immersion and British cultural experience. Accredited VET and higher education mobility can be funded through your national agency today, and the full programme opens with UK association in 2027. We handle everything on the UK side.
What you can fund to the UK today
The UK becomes a country associated to Erasmus+ on 1 January 2027. Until then, three routes are open to European senders:
- • Erasmus-accredited VET providers can send individual learners on short-term mobility (10–89 days), ErasmusPro (90–365 days), and to VET skills competitions.
- • Erasmus-accredited VET providers can send staff for job shadowing and for teaching or training assignments.
- • Higher education institutions can fund student traineeships and staff mobility to the UK from the international dimension of their KA131 grant.
From the 2027 call — expected to open in November 2026, with deadlines in February 2027 — group mobility, school partnerships, adult education, youth exchanges and sport mobility all open up as well. We are building those programmes now, so you can name us as your UK host in the application.

Group Mobilities
Whole cohorts travelling together, with placements, accommodation, cultural programme and leader support handled end to end — you focus on your learners, we handle the UK. Group mobility to the UK opens with UK association from the 2027 call.
Individual Mobilities
Single learners on longer placements, carefully matched to an employer and a vetted host, with pastoral check-ins and a real human on the end of the phone throughout.
Staff Mobilities
Job shadowing, teacher training and study visits for your staff — building practice, confidence and partnerships they take straight back into the classroom.
